
BBW, 09.05.2007 Blended Learning - the future of employees’ training
Recently, Business – Edu Expo 2007 took place, an event held a the Dalles Showroom in Bucharest. Over 70 training, coaching, specialized soft, and MBA suppliers and editing houses attended the event, INTUITEXT, the educational software division of the Softwin Group being one of them. INTUITEXT presented the eLearning concept, as a positive addition to the classic learning period.
“Though this presentation, we have tried to define the eLearning concept, the manner of learning through eLearning, as well as the fact that it may represent an addition to the classic training. The new element that we wanted to present was the possibility of an interaction between the Trainer and eLearning”, stated the INTUITEXT eLearning specialist.
Being one of the main integrated training solutions on the Romanian market, but also developing large projects in countries such as Great Britain, USA and Australia, INTUITEXT has introduced at the Business – Edu Expo fare its training and eLearning solutions dedicated to the companies.
The INTUITEXT presentation held by eLearning specialists was entitled “Training and eLearning, do they really work together?”. The main idea was that eLearning and classical training naturally combine, and that a Blended Learning training is the best solution for the companies.
The INTUITEXT specialists believe that the eLearning solutions may be successfully used both in the pre-testing, and in the follow-up activities. Through eLearning, the trainers may give lectures even if the groups of participants are in different locations, at long distances. Furthermore, the tests may be taken from distance.
“Various positive evolutions may be identified in the case of a correct use of the INTUITEXT platform. Following actual tests, the participants’ results significantly improved after the course (a score increase from 64 to 94). Furthermore, the general post-test results were better than the pre-test ones, both regarding the number of people passing the test (from 76% to 100%), and regarding the average score (65 at the pre-test, 81 at the post-test)”, explained the INTUITEXT eLearning specialist.
Business – Edu Expo 2007 was the first specialized fare where the latest training techniques, methodologies and technologies were introduced. Developed in order to support the HR specialists and the people interested in carrier development in making better purchase decisions, the event brought together top training providers, products presentation sessions and workshops.
